He followed in his Real Madrid team-mate, Kylian Mbappe's footsteps as he bought a stake in Liga Portugal 2 club, whereas Kylian Mbappe bought majority stake in Caen last year.
The Brazilian winger becomes the second player in the current Real Madrid squad to buy stakes in a European club. Last summer, Mbappe shelled out 20 million euros to purchase most of the shares in French second-division side Caen.
A consortium of Spanish and Brazilian investors, including Real Madrid star Vinicius, has completed the takeover of Liga Portugal 2 side Alverca as former owner Ricardo Vicintin sold his stake. As Per Record, the new owners will be unveiled in the next few weeks and the current club CEO Matheus Ornelas will manage the club until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
